Simple shirt designs I made for the UST CON to be possibly used as merchandise.
The first one was for nursing students and my idea was pretty simple, just a nice statement and played a little bit with the text. The second one was a bit difficult because I traced it using a pen/path tool from an original vector design I got from google. It took me about 30-40 minutes to trace the design and my hands hurt ‘cause I was only using the mousepad on my laptop. And then I got lazy and just added some text.
Being a GIMP user for the past 6 years of my life (haha I should get a loyalty award for this), it’s actually my first time to try and make anything from Photoshop CS5. So, I felt that the designs were crappy and it took me a really really long time to convince myself and be satisfied with them. I just wish I could get used to this ‘cause it’s really difficult to shift from the GIMP interface (which is a lot easier but lack presets) to Photoshop (which is totally advanced and what I should be using).
Anyways, the good news is, I was appointed by the student council to be the Head of the Multimedia Committee. Hooray! :D
